San Diego State moved up three spots in Baseball America's Top 25, rising to No. 18 in the nation. SDSU (22-11) split a home-and-home with UCSB and took three of four against UC Davis over the weekend.
The BA rankings released this morning also included USD (22-11), which returned at No. 25. The Toreros opened the season at No. 11 but tumbled out of the Top 25 by losing nine of their first 17 games. USD has won 14 of 16 games since, including a three-game sweep at Santa Clara over the weekend.
Arizona State has replaced Cal State Fullerton atop the new rankings.
