The NCAA released the RPI today, providing a glimpse at one of the components the selection committee uses to choose at-large teams and seed the bracket for the 64-team tournament.
San Diego State (28-17) checks in at No. 27 and is followed by USD (27-17) at No. 31.
The information was based on games played through Sunday.
North Carolina is No. 1. Georgia Tech, Rice, Cal State Fullerton and Miami round out the top 5.
